Voyage des Papilles
A culinary journey, from the first click
Voyage des Papilles is a catering service based in Geneva that brings refined dishes and flavours from around the world to every kind of event, from weddings to corporate receptions. In 2025, we designed and developed its website and optimised it for local search.
The challenge
Catering is chosen with the eyes first: before asking for a quote, couples, event planners and companies want to see the dishes, feel the atmosphere and make sure the caterer suits their occasion.
Voyage des Papilles needed a website as elegant as its buffets, able to present four very different services (events, weddings, corporate, celebrations), show the trust of prestigious clients and turn visits into quote requests. It also had to be found by people searching for a caterer in Geneva.
Our approach
On the UX side, we built the journey around the quote: a clear presentation of the four services, an “Inspirations” gallery to make mouths water, the client references to reassure, then calls to action placed at the key moments of the page.
The UI combines an elegant serif typography, warm cream and golden tones with a deep navy, and generous food photography, so that the site conveys the refinement of the cuisine. It also highlights the caterer’s commitment to sustainability: local and seasonal ingredients and partnerships with local artisans.
For local SEO, we structured the pages and content around the searches of the Geneva market (catering, weddings, corporate events), with clear titles and descriptions and the business details search engines rely on to show a local company.
